I've developed both a presentation to be used when running the workshop and a poster to promote the 'What's my score' tool. Overdose presentationI've been asked by a couple of people if there was a powepoint to go alongside the workshop for running the sessions, and I honestly had no plans to produce one. The reason for this is that the way I write powerpoints they are only really of any use to my style of delivery. But then Jamie Billingham (from the just://in.site blog)pointed me to Prezi, so I thought this would be an interesting test for it. (Note: if you click the 'More' option in the Prezi you can view it full screen.) You are free to use this presentation when running the Overdose Workshop, or of course in any other way you choose. You can also view the presentation on the Prezi website. I can really recommend using this site if you want to have a change from using powerpoint, it's a very interesting design process. What's your score: Poster
We've been using this tool in the needle programme and it's been a great way to generate the discussions around overdose risks. It's also good for helping motivate staff, if you have more than one base in an area you can get some competition between locations on how they score. To help support the use of this as a standalone tool I made a poster for use in the NSP and waiting areas, you can download a high quality PDF of the poster here. The overdose workshop can be found here.
