Hooked 4: How we became drugs workers
In the fourth episode of our podcast Allison and I talk about how we each got into harm reduction work. Although neither of us came into drugs work via what can be called normal routes this show does have some tips for people wanting to get into drugs work.
Before you listen to this show though I will give a warning...
...this episode is not for people with a weak stomach, we discuss at length smells and sights that may make some people feel a bit ill. You see it seems that working with injecting injuries and having a background that includes care homes etc has effected the way we see the world.
I will also say though that out of the four episodes that are out this one is my favourite so far.
You can either download the episode directly or better still you can subscribe to the podcast via iTunes which will automatically get each new episode as it comes out.
If you're not someone who has listened to podcasts before, or if you have never even heard of them then we have an introductory article that explains all here.
