Hooked 41: Ray Stephens

Todays Hooked podcast is a conversation I had with Ray Stephens during the IHRA conference in April. Ray is a trainer at Moreland Hall in Australia and also runs the stimulant based site called Bluebelly.

We talked about the use of social media and other websites in harm reduction as well as Rays other work. Ray is a great bloke to talk to and someone who I intend on continuing to work with on online projects.

Stephen and I first met online in the Ning group 'Heads Together the AOD collective' and I was really happy to finally get to meet him face to face.

We talked about Rays work at Moreland Hall and the stimulant website he runs called Bluebelly.

We also discussed (because lets face it, both Ray and I are obsessed) the use of social media and forums n the role of harm reduction, this included mentions of Bluelight and Drugs-Forum. My favourite quote in this section was this one about government funded sites:

"You don't go to the government to get harm reduction info on drugs, you ask your mates"
