Hooked 19: Questions and listener feedback

Written by Nigel Brunsdon on 19 October 2009.

Hooked Podcast subscribe in iTunesHooked episode 19 is a listener questions and feedback show. We've had some great questions in the months that we've been doing the show so we thought it was time we answered some of them.

A wide variety of subjects were discussed from injecting rooms to Nitrous Oxide and even baby swimming floats that go around the neck (really they do exist)

You can either download the episode directly or better still you can subscribe to the podcast via iTunes which will automatically get each new episode as it comes out.

Via iTunesIf you're not someone who has listened to podcasts before, or if you have never even heard of them then we have an introductory article that explains all here.

Shownotes

We mentioned the large amount of variation in drug slang, Erowid has a great collection of drug names.

We spoke about harm reduction and what this means, for more details you can also listen to the first Hooked episode. IHRA (the International Harm Reduction Association) have recently updated their statement on harm reduction which is a great introduction to this subject.

We talked again about the RIOTT study (see Hooked 17), but also about the possibility of safe smoking rooms for Crack Cocaine use.

During the talk about Nitrous Oxide I promised I'd post a link to the site we mentioned which was the Nitrous FAQ.
