Hooked 14: Introduction to heroin

Hooked episode 14 is an introduction to the basics of heroin. We discuss where it got its name, what happens with an overdose, how the drug works and much more. All in the usual Hooked style.

Although I think most of the people who use this site will already be aware of most of the information we discuss this was a fun show to do (and even fun to listen back to, although I still hate my own voice). A particular high point for me was convincing Allison to test out a paramedic trick for testing if someone can be woken up.
