We of course had to make this podcast about HIV as its coming out the week of World AIDS Day.

Firstly though we need to direct you to the article we mentioned in the show about Uganda proposing to introduce the death penalty for people who are gay and HIV positive. If you've listened to the show I'm sure you can tell how angry some of the comments the article has attracted made us angry, I would encourage people to make their opinion known.

Just received this email on the subject of durex tape:

Hiya, Been listening for a while (to all the Syn shows) and am trying to convert others. I was just listening to Hooked ep 24 HIV & Condoms, just wanted to set the durex thing straight. We did have durex tape (its since ceased to be sold) but in general if you say durex to someone the thing that springs to mind is condoms.
