Podcast Infomation

HookedInjecting Advice.com in association with Simply Syndicated is producing a series of free harm reduction based podcasts. We are hoping that these will act as both an important and accessible resource to the drug using and worker community.

What will be included

We have plans to cover all aspects of harm reduction drug information. The first few shows are focusing on explaining what harm reduction is and the basic principles. But in future shows we will cover specific drugs and situation in greater detail as well as answering listener questions.

How can you get the show

Each show will be announced on Injecting Advice.com and Simply Syndicated. A direct download link will be available you can also download it from the Simply Syndicated website. However the easiest way will be to subscribe via iTunes (iTunes is available for free), this way new shows will automatically be downloaded to you computer and media device as soon as they are available.

But what is a podcast?

In simple terms it's a radio show that can be freely downloaded and listened to when its convenient for you. You don't need any special equipment to listen to it, as long as you have a computer (which assuming you're reading this you have) you can listen on that. Although the best way to listen is probably using an MP3 player. If you download a podcast direct from a site or iTunes this can be added to an MP3 player in the same way you add in any downloaded music, if you're MP3 player is an iPod then you can set it to automatically transfer podcasts that you've downloaded.

Who are Simply Syndicated

Simply Syndicated are one of the UKs biggest producers/distributors of entertainment podcasts, as well as providing the technical expertise for the podcasts we are fortunate that one of their core staff is also an incredibly talented harm reduction worker. Simply Syndicated have a huge existing audience that have been requesting a drugs based podcast for a while now, giving us a great stating community.  For more details on Simply syndicated visit their website
