Drug activism shirts
So Christmas is over its time to put those lovely jumpers Aunt Flow knitted for you in a charity bag, and time to get on with the year. But maybe you've still got some Christmas gift money left over and want to find something nice to wear (at least nicer than the jumper).
So I thought I'd just round up the best drugs related Tshirts that you can buy to support some great groups.
Release
Release are one of the most important charities in the UK, they provide legal support to drug users and their families and help out with welfare or housing issues. Release are the group both Drugscope advise people to contact, and the group that the overfunded 'Talk to Frank' phoneline (£5,784,000 over 4 years) turns to when questions get difficult.
Release are responsible for the 'Nice People Take Drugs' anti stigma campaign which includes this lovely Tshirt as well as badges and great playing cards.

Exchange supplies
Its no secret I'm a fan of the work Exchange Supplies do, they are the first to develop new harm reduction tools for use within needle programmes. They are also behind the design of the Harm Reduction Works campaign for the NTA which is one of the best looking I've ever seen.
Now they have a range of Tshirts to support the campaign (I usually wear the OD Recovery one when I run an OD workshop).

Harm Reduction Coalition
Since 1993 the HRC has been advancing policies and programs that help people address the adverse effects of drug use inclu
ding overdose, HIV, hepatitis C, addiction, and incarceration. They also arrange a yearly US conference promoting harm reduction, have a regular podcast (almost as good as Hooked).
The HRC has a great set of Tshirts that tend to focus on their activist roots, examples of which include "Never mind the bureaucrats, here's the harm reduction coalition" or the now world famous "Got naloxone?". Currently there is a slight issue with ordering from the UK, but as soon as this is resolved I'll let you know

Austin HRC
The Austin HRC are a volunteer based non-profit group that work primarily via needle programmes to reduce the spread of HIV and HepC in Texas, they do this so well that Austin is the only major city within the state that has recorded a reduction of the virus in the injecting community.
Never people to shy away from plain speaking they have produced some of the best Tshirts about including the classic "f*ck safe, shoot clean" pictured here.

What not to share
The 'What not to share campaign from the HepC Trust contains some wonderful stark images that make great shirts.
The Trust work to promote community knowledge about the risks of HepC as well as supporting people who live with the virus, although I've linked though here to the what not to share Tshirts they also have shirts with some of thier other campaigns available from the main website.
Visit the 'What not to share' site.
Others
Of course I'm sure there are other great groups producing shirts and doing important work, if you know of some please let me know and I'll add them to the list.
